The first and one of the easiest tips is to drink lots of water. An interesting fact is once you are thirsty you are already dehydrated. So make sure to drink lots of water especially in the summer. See the next tip if you need help with this.
More Than Water
If you want more than just water or something with more flavor add fruit or vegetables to your water. Lemon, cucumber, green tea, strawberries and lots of other things are super good in your water, that are also really good for you.
Exercise is good for everyone so don’t be scared to do some. There are so many different levels, if you aren’t in shape or don’t want anything too difficult do yoga, pilates, or a customizable at home workout. If you want something more challenging go to the gym or take a class. Find a way of exercise that you enjoy (mine is dance).
Cutting sugar out of your diet (most of the way haha) will help you feel a lot better. It gives you more energy and you feel like your brain works better. If you don’t believe me give it a trial run and see how you feel. Once you are off sugar it isn’t as hard.
Try to substitute healthier foods for the normal junk food you eat. Like for potato chips, eat pop chips, and for an almond joy, eat an ocho bar (dark chocolate and coconut). Also try to eat more fruit and vegetables.
Use Natural Things
I have noticed a huge difference in my skin when I started using natural products. Not all of the products I use are natural, but most of them are. Natural things are also so much better for you than normal products, not just skincare but food as well.
Use Pinterest to come up with good recipes that you would actually enjoy. They have so many recipes that it would be impossible to not find something you don’t like. Search easy healthy recipes or something like that, and pin a bunch of recipes that look good.
I know it is hard for some people because they don’t have time to cook, or they are working and just go out to eat. But if you pre-cook you can have healthy food while you are busy or at work. Take the time one day of the week to cook and pack some lunches for yourself later in the week. That way you will have healthy food even when you are busy.
Ask yourself why you want to be healthier. Any time you want to stop or think it is useless think back to this reason. It will remind yourself that you have a good reason and you really want to try.
