Hey everyone! Today I am going to be talking about my New Years resolutions! This is my last post for 2018 and I just want to say thank you to each of you that follows me and reads my posts! Please follow me if you aren’t already and enjoy!
The first thing I want to do is go on more adventures and travel more. I want to get out more and explore, go hiking, go on trips and just go on more adventures. I also want to take pictures of my adventures and post some of them so you all can see.
This year I want to be better at thinking of myself if that makes sense. I want to spend less time on social media and my phone in order to help my mental health. I also want to exercise more on my own terms instead of being forced to take a PE class. I want to have more productive days and get more things done, that way I feel better overall. Something else that I want to do is read more, especially poetry because this is just so therapeutic.
I want to spend more time and effort on this blog. I also want to start using my own photography in my blog posts and get more into editing software. Right now I have close to 500 followers (which is crazy!) and I want to get to 1k before 2020.
I am normally pretty good about staying away from sugar but when I do let myself cheat I kind of go overboard. I want to be better about sticking to it and getting back to it after I let myself cheat. I feel so much better and look so much better when I stay away from sugar, so I really want to stick with this.
I have been getting into creative writing and just brainstorming and it is so fun! I really want to do this more in 2019 and hopefully I will get some good ideas in the future. If you haven’t tried this, I highly recommend.
As for money, this year I just want to focus on saving as much as possible. I want to make less impulse decisions throughout this year so that I can save more money for travel or things that I actually need and would be more rewarding.
Live By This
I found a few quotes on Pinterest that kind of embodied what I want to live by in 2019. The first one is: Don’t just exist, live. The other one is: She was never quite ready. But she was brave. And the universe listens to brave. I love how these give the impression of being fearless but it is actually internal strength and bravery. My saying for this year is Find what feeds your inner fire and do it.
I wanted to share some of my favorite quotes that I have found, so enjoy…
