Hey everyone! Today I am going to be giving you some tips to boost your mood. Sometimes this time of year can make you feel down, so hopefully these tips can help you out. Please follow me if you aren’t already and enjoy!
Get Dressed Up
The first thing is to get dressed or to get dressed up fancier than you normally would. Don’t sit around in your pajamas, put on an outfit you feel cute in. Also, wearing makeup can help you feel more put together.
Get Out of the House
Sometimes you just need to get out of the house. Here is a short list of things you can do outside of your house.
- Get errands done
- Coffee shop
- Get together with friends
- Go for a drive
- Go on a walk
- Library
- Thrift shopping
- Treat yourself to a treat
- Get food
Listen to Music
Something that always cheers me up is listening to music. I have a playlist on Spotify called Good Vibes that has a lot of cheerful songs from the Beach Boys and the Beatles. Listen to music while you do something to help boost your mood!
Exercise
Something that can make me feel good is to exercise. You can go on a walk and listen to music or just do a workout. Sometimes going to the gym is a good idea because you get out of the house. You can see my Everyday Workout Routine here.
Something that I love to do is just browse through Pinterest. I love to get creative and make some new boards. You can start a travel board and plan out some vacations you want to go on in the future. Or you can find some new outfit ideas. It would be fun to find some outfits that you love and try to recreate them with your own clothes.
Write / Doodle
Writing is a great way to boost my mood and reduce stress. You can journal and write down the things that are on your mind. It is also fun to blog or write stories. Journalling is also fun to do because you can get organized. Basically any type of writing is really fun for me and helps entertain me when I am bored. I also find it fun to doodle while I am watching TV or YouTube.
Positive People
Make sure that you are surrounded with positive and happy people. Even the TV you watch can impact your mood. I love to watch YouTube and some of my favorite happy YouTubers are Hannah Meloche, Luca Whitaker, Haley Pham, Sydney Serena, Ava Jules and Kristin Johns.
Good Environment
Make sure you are in a good environment that makes you happy. Don’t let your room get super messy, keep it clean. Also, rearranging or redecorating your room can make it feel really great and new. I always like to do this every now and then for a good change.

Hey there! I think the biggest struggle is choosing your friends right. There are so many negative people in the world and itβs hard to find a good positive uplifting one. Those are the ones that everyone needs. You are what you eat.. also, you are who you hang with. Same thing.
